Dave Barber's is truly, truly, truly the best car repair place in Gainesville!! We came in after prep boys on Newberry charged us to fix our broken car window and knowingly gave the car back to us with a damaged channel and motor. Can you guess what happened not even two days after we got it? Yup!! It broke again!! Not only did they fix the problem, but they went out of their way to illustrate VISUALS of what truly was damaged, needed to be replaced and ordered the most inexpensive parts for us college students. The two ladies at the front desk were really nice and so was the guy with pretty eyes and long beard. I was in a car accident and this is where my car was towed. They called me first thing the next morning and walked me through everything. They worked with my insurance so I didn’t have the headache of doing it and made sure the parts I received were the best. A huge advocate for us!!! Erica called and kept me updated the whole time, so I knew exactly what was happening and had no stress. When I picked up the car it looked better than when I bought it! You couldn’t tell anything happened. They walked me through how to take care of the new paint and even cleaned my car! I went in because someone dinged my car with a shopping cart. They gave me an estimate but it was out of my budget and I told them that. They told me they understood and said if I bring a touch-up paint in they’ll help me apply it for free. I came in the next week and Rachael took her time to show me how to apply it.
